Our Team

Founded in 2004 by Managing Director Vincent Choi, RPtecture has grown into a multicultural design team who speaks, besides the lingua franca English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Korean, Greek and Italian.

Vincent

Creative Director

Vincent Choi moved to Australia from Hong Kong after being offered a position to study Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Here, he found a new life. After graduating from university, Vincent nurtured his skills in the Singapore design market, gaining international and regional exposure in his field.

Vincent returned to Melbourne in 1998 and in 2004 founded RPtecture Architects, having found the Reference Point in his passion for Architecture. He currently leads a highly dedicated team of creative and like-minded professionals. He is focused on mentoring the next generation within his team and does so through the AIA mentor program. Vincent is passionate about marathon running and supporting not-for-profit projects that help communities throughout Australasia.

Elaine Choi

Communications & Practice Manager

With a background in marketing, a bedazzled eye for aesthetics and design and a knack for languages, Elaine came to Melbourne and fell in love (and in awe) with the eccentricities of what Melbourne offers. Shopping and cafe culture and in general, food, is what keeps her on the move. But for now, work, exercise, and family are what keeps her on the go.
